Born and raised in South Florida, Vonna N. Smith is a dedicated trial attorney focused on helping individuals and families recover after life-altering accidents. She represents clients in a wide range of personal injury matters, including motor vehicle collisions, premises liability, slip and fall accidents, and wrongful death claims.

Before becoming an associate at Weinstein & Cohen, Vonna served as a senior paralegal at the firm for several years, working closely with the litigation team on high-stakes cases involving medical malpractice, commercial disputes, and catastrophic injury. With nearly two decades of experience navigating the personal injury system before becoming a lawyer, she brings a unique understanding of both the legal process and the emotional toll these cases can take on clients.

Known for her compassion, accessibility, and commitment to communication, Vonna works tirelessly to ensure her clients feel informed, supported, and empowered every step of the way. Whether negotiating a settlement or preparing for trial, she is relentless in her pursuit of justice on behalf of those who have been wrongfully injured.

Vonna earned her law degree from St. Thomas University School of Law and holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Administration from Florida International University. She is also a proud member of the Gwen S. Cherry Black Women Lawyers Association.
